Installing the JavaScript Library

  1. The first step is to install your tracking script (found in your site settings) after the opening <head> tag on every page of your site. (If you’re wondering if it’s possible to move the script lower down the page, please read about our recommendation.)

  2. Once the script has been installed, it may take several minutes (up to 30 minutes) for tracking to start. We will send you an email notification when data starts becoming available.

  3. While you wait…learn about what events you will be tracking and how to start creating custom events tailored to your business. Our Best Practices section can help you get thinking about what events you’ll want to keep track of for your business.
